Account and subscription help

Plans, what each unlocks, managing your subscription, signing in, and how progress carries between sessions.

SysDesks has a free plan and two paid tiers. All three give you the same simulator — the same ticket types, the same tools, the same courses and interview feature. What differs between them is how much you can do per day. Free accounts share a daily allowance for AI-assisted chat and mail; paid plans include unlimited communication.

What each plan includes

  • Free — 5 ticket resolutions, 1 call, and 25 AI-assisted chat or mail messages per day.
  • Tech Expert — 15 ticket resolutions, 7 calls, and unlimited chat and mail messages per day.
  • Technical Genius — unlimited ticket resolutions, calls, chat, and mail.

Current pricing and secure checkout for Tech Expert and Technical Genius are available from your technician profile after you sign in — that is also where you manage an existing subscription, including canceling or changing plans. We keep pricing out of public marketing pages deliberately; the profile page is the single source of truth for what you'd actually be charged.

You can create an account with an email and password, or continue with Google — either method produces a full, identical account, and you can use whichever is more convenient without any functional trade-off. Every account picks a public handle and an avatar during setup; the handle is what's shown on the leaderboard and on any documentation your resolved tickets publish, and both can be revisited later from your technician profile if you want to change them.

If you started on a limited free session and later create a full account, your progress transfers rather than resetting. Career points, closed tickets, course progress, and your interview history and skill profile all carry forward onto the account you sign in with — you are not starting over just because you're formalizing an account partway through a shift.

Daily limits reset once every 24 hours from when they were last consumed, not at a fixed clock time — so a limit you hit today clears roughly a day later, not necessarily at midnight. If you believe your limit has not reset correctly, or a subscription change hasn't taken effect after checkout completes, contact support with your account email and the approximate time of the issue.

The leaderboard shows your public handle, your role, and your total career points to other technicians — it does not show your email address or any account details beyond what you chose to make public during setup.

If you sign up with an email and password rather than Google, SysDesks requires a reasonably strong password at account creation — at least eight characters — the same baseline any account holding your progress and any subscription details should be protected by. If you ever forget it, password recovery is handled from the sign-in page rather than through support, since that's the faster and more secure path back into your own account.

Changing plans takes effect through the same checkout flow on your technician profile, whether you're moving from Free up to Tech Expert or Technical Genius, or moving between the two paid tiers. There is no separate downgrade or upgrade form — it is the same subscription management surface either direction, and your progress, points, and history are entirely unaffected by a plan change in either direction. A plan only ever changes your daily ticket and call allowance, never what you've already built up.

Your technician profile is also the one place that pulls your whole account together in a single view: current role and points, this week's activity, your recent ticket history with results, and your subscription tier side by side. It's worth checking regularly even outside of billing questions, since it's the fastest way to see the shape of your own progress rather than piecing it together from the queue and the leaderboard separately.
